We currently have Full Time and Part Time positions available throughout the metro area.  The positions require a lot of walking and frequent weekend shifts.

-1 year previous security/loss prevention/law enforcement or other related field experience
-Committed to providing high level of customer service
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent observation skills and awareness of surroundings
-Proven ability to problem solve and take initiative
-Ability to work in fast paced environment while juggling multiple competing tasks and demands
-Basic computer skills

Education Requirements 
– High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (All)
– Must have CPR/FA/AED certification or be willing to train.
– Defensive Tactics Certification or willing to train

The more challenging the situation, the more Matt Rice likes it. Matt’s ability to excel in a demanding and changing environment serves him well as the Operations Manager for Heartland Corporate Security, a position he has held since March, 2012. Matt’s duties include training and managing over 100 loss prevention specialists and security officers who provide services to Heartland’s corporate security clients. He also works with clients to assess their needs and designs customized programs for asset protection and security. Matt enjoys the variety of working with several different clients with diverse needs.

Matt has an extensive background in loss prevention, which includes managing and training loss prevention personnel for several national retailers. While working as the Loss Prevention Manager for a major retail store, Matt joined the Heartland team in 2008 to assist with special projects on a part time basis. His experience, excellent record and motivation made him an exceptional choice for his current position when it became available in 2012.

Matt holds certifications in Advanced Investigative Methods, including Interview and Interrogation, Firearms, Use of Force and Defensive Tactics.
