For nearly eight years, Heartland has been the investigator of record for outside counsel assisting the State of Minnesota on the most successful landfill litigation in state history. The Minnesota Landfill Clean Up Act has recovered nearly $300 million by identifying responsible parties, proving nexus and recovering through insurers.
